A Jade plant is fleshy, with thick stems and stout, shiny green leaves. It develops into a huge bush in the mild year-round climate. Where winter temperatures drop to freezing and below, the Jade plant is grown as a houseplant. It can spend summers outside in an ensured zone however should be brought inside during the colder months.

It needs a well-balanced fertilizer with a proportion of 0-20-10 or 5-10-5 every 2 weeks. Try not to fertilize the plant in winter as it is a slow-growing season.

Repot the plant every 2 to 3 years.

It can be proliferated by stem cuttings that can be rooted in water then move to a well-drained potting medium.

• Watering the Jade Plant slightly or too much can make it droop and fall. If the leaves are staining and dropping, it’s a normal case of overwatering, and if the leaves are withering up, it is due to underwatering. Fix your watering timetable to prevent your Jade Plant from drooping.
